San Antonio airport ‘in the process of restoring operations' after fights delayed

June 3, 2017

SA International Airport is in the process of restoring normal operations. Please contact your airline to check the status of your flights.

USGIF has been in contact with attendees diverted to DAL, DFW, DIA, AUS, and other airports as well as those grounded at their originating cities. Attendees are reporting they are now reboarding flights as SAT begins receiving flights.

At approximately 9:45am, American Airlines flight 2214, a Boeing 737-800 bound for Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), aborted take-off from runway 13R at San Antonio International (SAT) for undetermined reasons and veered off the runway at a low speed. All passengers and crew safely deplaned.
